Los Alamitos HS scored at the last second to defeat University City and win the Southern California Varsity White championship this weekend.
Varsity White is for single-school teams that are allowed to use players from other schools as long as a) the other school doesn't have a rugby team, and b) at least 75% of the team is from one school.
Southern California's Varsity White league is down to a final two as the semifinals were held this weekend.
University City edged Wilson High School in overtime, while Los Alamitos put San Pasqual to the sword 53-31 to make the Varsity White final.

In Varsity Red, which is the league for fully, 100% single-school teams, we're down to the top four after the final games decided who was 1st and who 2nd in the two divisions.

Four teams are now left in the Southern California Varsity White division after they won their quarterfinal games this weekend.
Wilson HS defeated San Marcos 35-15 in one of those quarterfinals. San Pasqual hammered Santiago 44-7. Los Alamitos defeated La Jolla by a wide margin (officially recorded score 66-26), and University City beat the San Clemente HS Tritons 40-24.

Wilson HS took charge in the LA division with a convincing win over Santiago Wilson Tops Santiago. That win puts Wilson at 5-0 and clinches the #1 seed out of LA, with Santiago #2.
