Bowling Green took a big step in the Mid-American Conference with a 27-15 defeat over Western Michigan Saturday.
Both teams are relatively young, but it seems as if WMU is a little bit less experienced, and it certainly seemed apparent that if the Broncos would have been a bit tidier in their connections, they would have caused the Falcons some more problems.
Unsurprisingly Bowling Green won big in the Mid American Conference, but while the Falcons have cruised to 2-0 so have the Louisville Cardinals.
And Louisville might be the team that everyone is keeping an eye on. The Cardinals beat Cincinnati 54-10 on Saturday to move to 2-0.

Meanwhile, Western Michigan showed well in a 35-19 defeat of IUPUI.
Clemson defeated Citadel in the final to win the Big Red 7s this weekend at the campus of The Citadel in South Carolina.
Bowling Green repeated as Mid-American Conference Champions Sunday, beating Western Michigan 48-15 in the final and making it six finals wins since 2014.
