Saturday was Day Two of the USA 7s for the United States women’s team, and they started it by getting a little revenge, and ended it understanding they still have a ways to go.
The USA Women's 7s team and the USA Falcons 7s team have been named for Las Vegas.
The Eagles will play in the Women's World Series event at Sam Boyd Stadium. kicking off on Friday morning. The Falcons will play in the Las Vegas Invitational Women's Elite 7s.
The USA Falcons women's 7s team won the Invitational Cup at the Okinawa 7s.
The Falcons, a team of current USA 7s players and those knocking on the door, went 2-0-2 in the first four games, beating France and Netherlands, and tying Japan A and Japan B.
The Women’s Collegiate All Americans finished 2nd in the ATAVUS Women’s Elite 7s in Infinity Park last weekend, losing in the final to an Eagle-lade Scion team, but the experience was a useful one nonetheless.
