GRR: College Men
Central Washington pulled off an impressive win over BYU on Saturday, taking down the Cougars 21-12.
It was a windy day and CWU played into the wind in the first half. That, of course, favored BYU to a certain extent, but the wind normally benefits teams that kick and BYU loves to run.
Army West Point pulled off a bit of a shocker Saturday, defeating visiting Cal 27-14 at Anderson Rugby Complex.
The day began with a moving moment of silence for Stephen Dwyer, an Army Rugby alumnus who was one of those who died in the helicopter crash in November in the Mediterranean. Cal rugby presented the Army team with a commemorative wreath before the match.
Navy had decent but maybe not perfect first outing for 2024 but they did come away with a win.

Life University is coming off a victory over Lindenwood that launched them up to #3. They take on Arkansas State, a team we moved up to #2.

Life of course moves up after beating Lindenwood. We have to keep everyone in this line because Lindenwood beat BYU who beat Cal. Yes we could move Saint Mary's ahead of Cal but not yet.
