GRR: College Men
Many of the major college games this weekend were really scrimmages, but there were some straight results we want to bring you.
Navy beat Mount St. Mary's in a game that was way, way closer than the score makes it appear.
It's warmup time and a lot of D1 college teams are testing out their lineups.
We've already seen some results from last week, and earlier this week Kansas and Lindenwood's 2nds battled in some not insignificant heat in a game that was called early due to lightning. So really hot and thunderbolts from the sky. Nice.
The Liberty Conference D1 schedule kicks off in a week with the first conference games, so this week is a quick runway for everyone.
It's a relatively tight schedule as these teams try to squeeze as many 15s games into the fall as possible. Teams have one week off and other than that go week-to-week to get nine games in before the NCR playoffs kick off.
With the MLR Draft finally done, we can look at a few and background facts.

The SCRC D1AA season is fairly short, with teams only playing two pool games before the playoffs, but that doesn’t mean the teams’ schedule as whole is short.
The conference itself kicks off September 21 with Kentucky at Alabama, and really gets going with games on October 5, 12, and 19. The conference is split into three pools—East, West, and South.
