On Saturday, February 17, a gathering of nearly 100 High School players from British Columbia, Washington, and Oregon attended the WWU High School Rugby Clinic, getting a high-level session from Western Washington University coaches and players.

It was a windy day and CWU played into the wind in the first half. That, of course, favored BYU to a certain extent, but the wind normally benefits teams that kick and BYU loves to run.
Army West Point pulled off a bit of a shocker Saturday, defeating visiting Cal 27-14 at Anderson Rugby Complex.
The day began with a moving moment of silence for Stephen Dwyer, an Army Rugby alumnus who was one of those who died in the helicopter crash in November in the Mediterranean. Cal rugby presented the Army team with a commemorative wreath before the match.
Navy had decent but maybe not perfect first outing for 2024 but they did come away with a win.
For the Midshipmen you'd expect them to be prepared and fit, and building from a superb fall, but training is just that ... training.
