This season also saw Rugby Georgia held its first U19’s HS girls championship tournament. 

The championship match saw that Harlequins from Marietta, GA travel south to Brunswick, GA where the home team hosted the tournament.

The South Bay Spartans came away from this past weekend's Fullerton International Invitational with two championships, and the team's youth program added a third tournament win in one weekend..

The Spartans U12s took the championship in the 2018 SoCal Youth Rugby Northern Section End of the Season (EOS) Tournament in Norco, Calif.

Atlantis once again proved its worth in Girls age-grade 7s rugby, taking the LVI Girls HS Elite bracket over British Columbia.

For the most part, Atlantis was the same Atlantis that made the final of the NAI 7s, and won the New York 7s, dominating possession and combining power runners with speed.

USA Rugby CEO Dan Payne is stepping down after the Rugby World Cup Sevens this July in San Francisco.

Payne told the USA Rugby Board of Directors in February, and employees were told this weekend and Monday.

Put simply, the 2018 edition of Carolina Ruggerfest being held in Matthews, a small town just outside of Charlotte, North Carolina, is massive.   The tournament, for its 15 year history, has always been an early season friendly for youth and high school teams.    Already a large event in years past, this time around they will break all their own records.   Here’s a look, just by the numbers:
