The USA Under 20 men’s team is safely ensconced on Vancouver Island preparing for their all-important two-game series with Canada.
BOULDER, Colo. (USA Rugby Press Release) – The USA Rugby AIG Men’s Junior All-Americans will play Canada’s men’s under-20 team in a two-match series to determine the North American representative at the World Rugby U20 Trophy in Portugal. (See our pre-selection analysis here)
The USA U20 team has a couple of games to play in two weeks, when they face off with Canada’s U20s March 23 at Shawnigan Lake, BC, and March 27 in Langford, BC.
The two-game series will decide which of the two teams will compete in the Junior World Rugby Trophy.
One of the dark horse players seeking a spot in the USA National Team could well be former USA U20 captain and scrumhalf Tom Bliss.
