The state of Washington has pushed almost all high school sports back to the New Year, which will likely have a profound effect on high school rugby participation in 2021.
The Washington Loggers State Boys and Girls Rep-Side competed in the Vancouver Sevens Invitational (VSI) held as part of the Vancouver 7s, this past weekend, coming away with some hardware.
The VSI was held at the purpose-built Gerald McGavin UBC Rugby Centre, preceding the HSBC World Series 7s event.
The Boys U16s finishing 3rd.

The Chuckanut Bay Athletic Association (CBAA) has reached a formal agreement with the Bellingham School District to develop new girls and boys rugby teams at each of three high schools in the Northwestern Washington city—Bellingham HS, Squalicum HS, and Sehome HS.

The Eastside Lions wrapped up the regular season in Washington State 7-0 after beating Liberty 46-19 this past weekend.
Eastside went 7-0, scoring 351 points (just over 50 per game) and gave up just 53 (about 7 1/2 points per game) and now look ahead to the Boys HS Rugby National Championships in a little over two weeks.
