Boys HS Rugby Scores April 3-7
Southern CaliforniaWe’re coming up to two Boys HS National Championships play-ins in Southern California this coming weekend, with San Diego Mustangs vs Thunder, and SOC Raptors vs Belmont Shore.
Despite a wet field and a one-hour thunderstorm delay, Bixby managed to defeat F5 to win the Oklahoma state championship over the weekend.
"We knew it was going to be all about field position," said Head Coach Chris Smith.
We crowned a few state champions over the weekend and learned who will be battling for a couple more.
In addition, we had a couple of key games that likely have an effect on HS National Championship seedings. Here's a look.
Two shutouts brought an Oklahoma state championship to Bixby as the highly-ranked single-school team beat Edmond 34-0 in the semifinals last week, and F5 51-0 in the final this past Saturday.
