Goff Rankings
Well guess what, we've got College DII rankings right here.
It's been a few weeks since you saw any, so don't be surprised that you will see some major changes.
Such as ...Furman, Vermont, and especially Kings Point move up, especially Kings Point.
This past weekend we brought back our predictions for each week's games.
This is always a bit of a crapshoot, especially when not a lot of teams have common opponents. Of the 16 games played, we were right on 11 and wrong on five. That's not a great percentage. We were right on the margin of victory (or at least in the neighborhood) on seven.
This is how we're voting on the D1A rankings.
Everyone who votes on the official D1A rankings ranks them 1 through 68. We do that too, but we're listing just 50 at the moment.
Here's how Goff Rugby Report is voting in this week's D1A rankings. We have no changes in the Top 10. St. Bonaventure did very well, but so did everyone else. You could argue that Kutztown should drop down due to a loss, but that was a last-second loss against the team ranked one spot above—seems like the right spot, for now.
Preseason warmups are just about done and DIA teams are deep into conference play, for the most part.
Kutztown, having defeated Army, goes against the US Naval Academy this time, albeit in a non-conference game.
Minnesota, having logged a key win over Purdue now looks to Michigan.
The Liberty is still a dogfight.
