Goff Rankings
There is not much to change after the latest results in the DIA and Varsity Cup playoffs. Perhaps Arizona State's big win over Ohio State precipitates the most dramatic change.
We were also impressed with Cal Poly's result against Utah, albeit a loss.
Since it’s been a month since our last Girls High School Top 20 ranking, we have plenty to update. The ample time, however, has allowed a better understanding of the candidates.
We shook things about a little bit in this week's HS Club Rankings. Weston, beating Naples soundly, moves way up. West Shore, Kingwood, LA, Santa Monica, and Peninsula Green all beat ranked teams. Hopkins beat a team we were expecting to rank, so they jump in at 19. We shuffled some California and North Carolina teams around.
We're back with the Boys single-school rankings after skipping a week (big playoff week and we just didn't get to it in time, and made the executive decision on Friday to wait). There's a little shift up top where Jesuit's loss to a very strong Granite Bay team and less-than-dominant win over Dixon inches them down behind a Penn squad that beat a very capable Notre Dame de La Salette.
The Men's DI College rankings continue to be complicated by the fact that there are three separate DI competitions, and a chunk of the teams aren't even playing 15s at all. And of course there's the split season - some play in the fall, some in the winter/spring, some both. We really have not had a time when all teams that could be ranked are playing 15s at the same time.
