GRR: Perry Baker
With Carlin Isles running track, the USA Men's 7s team has asked Perry Baker to put in a full 14 minutes on the wing; the result so far has been wins over France and England, and four tries.
Baker notched his second double Saturday at the Canada 7s in Vancouver, BC as the Eagles edged England 17-12.
Perry Baker’s first foray into high-level American 7s was back in 2006, when he was the central weapon for the Daytona Beach Coconuts in their run to the USA Club 7s Nationals.
The USA Men’s 7s team bowed out with two losses on Day Two of the Wellington 7s, finishing tied for 7th after making the Cup Quarterfinals.
The Eagles played as if they were frustrated, going into a lot of contact, and letting setbacks get into their heads.
