The quarterfinals for the inaugural Olympic Games women's rugby sevens competition have been confirmed after the final pool games in Sunday's morning session at the Deodoro Stadium.

Australia dominated in Pool A, New Zealand in Pool B, and Canada and Great Britain in Pool C. Those four teams have given up a total of eight points.
France is also 2-0, but a little less dominant than New Zealand.
