GRR: NCR D1
The Rugby East Conference has released its schedule for the fall of 2023.
The conference is undergoing a couple of changes with the move of Virginia Tech to the MARC and the arrival of Life University.
Brown University has won the NCR D1 men’s college championship with a powerful forward performance and a defense that gave up exactly two tries in three playoff games over the late fall.
Saturday night in Houston at Aveva Stadium, Brown stifled Queens University Charlotte, and, for the most part, didn’t allow them to get into their game, winning the final 21-5.
The fall pretty much wraps up with this weekend's games.
This time we combine all the divisions together because all of the games are at the same venue and it's basically one event.
We decide NCR's Men's Small College, D2, D1AA, and D1 winners and there are a couple of bowl games too.
Who will win? Well, you we do have a prediction video.
Queens University and Brown will face off in NCR’s D1 final this coming weekend after both won tight semifinals on Saturday.
A torrid first half saw the Royals past Thomas More Saturday evening.
Late in the fall it's a small list of games but an important one.
NCR will decide its finalists in Men's D1 and Men's D1AA. The semifinals in Small College and D2 will be held the same weekend as their finals, and the D1/D1AA finals, Dec 9-11 in Houston. They will also have two bowl games with Notre Dame vs Boise State and Southern Nazarene vs Sam Houston State.
