GRR: NAI 7s
The North American Invitational 7s is essentially sold out, but there's still hope.
The NAI 7s, to be held July 22-23 in Salt Lake City, will have 13 brackets from U12 to U23, and there may be one or two spots in a couple of those brackets.
Places still remain at the NAI 7s, set for Salt Lake City July 22-23.
The age-grade 7s event, which welcomes clubs and select sides in a variety of brackets, with over 100 teams expected from all over the USA and from places around the world. The tournament is one of the elite events on the rugby calendar and is a crucible for talented players to achieve at a higher level.
The North American Invitational 7s brackets are already filling up even though there are several months to go.
The demand for well-run rugby tournaments appears to be growing, especially after so many tournaments were canceled in 2020 and 2021. The NAI 7s came back in 2021 with a vengeance and provided plenty of high-level playing opportunities.
The NAI 7s tournament is expanding its U14 and U16 boys divisions into two tiers each.
Every year the tournament asks for feedback from the participants, and this move is a direct result of that feedback.
Rhinos Rugby Academy won three separate brackets in the NAI 7s, two select sides we haven't really seen before won, and at was also a tournament for existing clubs that wanted to perform at this all-star stage.
