GRR: NAI 7s
As we look ahead to the NAI 7s and look back at the National Sevens Youth Championships, here's a nice story from a team that won in the latter and will be playing in the former.
The LA Tribe boys won the U14 bracket at the Youth 7s in Cleveland, playing a nice brand of 7s and benefiting from a distinct size advantage at times. But that wasn't the whole story ...
The NAI 7s is almost completely full, but there are a couple of spots still available.
Pre-registration is over and the waiting list is being deployed, but to even out the numbers the tournament does have a spot or two.
The NAI 7s in Salt Lake City is bringing back its U23 men's bracket.
The tournament leadership was on the fence about this bracket after holding it the last two years. So Tournament Director Michael Cressler put out a call for feedback.
The result? By popular demand the eight-team Men's U23 bracket is back.
Registration is open for the 2023 NAI 7s.
Probably the largest rugby tournament in the Western Hemisphere, the NAI 7s brings youth and HS sevens teams from around the country and around the world to play at the Regional Athletic Center in Salt Lake City, Utah in the summer.
We’re still looking over the NAI 7s and this here is a nod to Belmont Shore.
The Long Beach-based rugby program, which covers every age group, was hugely successful throughout the tournament.
Belmont Shore entered six teams: Boys U18, Girls U16, Boys U16, Girls U14, Boys U14, and Coed U12.
