GRR: Mystic River
Back from their tour of Italy safe and sound, the Mystic U19s can reflect on a hugely successful tour.
The the field, the tour was difficult, as the relatively young Mystic team faced some more experienced opponents.
It's been a busy time for both Marin and Mystic on tour with Irish Rugby Tours.
Marin has a tough game against Walcott RFC, especially when they were forced to move some players around.
On tour in Italy, the Mystic River U19 team spent the first couple of days in training with two different clubs in Milan.
The players will be playing three games through their ten-day tour, but before they started playing, they needed some time to warm up after getting out of the Massachusetts winter. They went through training sessions with Cus Milano and then the Colorno club.
Mystic River’s U19s are back on tour this February, touring Italy with the help of Irish Rugby Tours.
(Despite the name, Irish Rugby Tours takes teams to destinations all over the world, helping them combine a cultural itinerary with tickets to professional and international gams, and matching the teams with competitive opponents.)
