Middle School NIT
The concept behind the Ruck in Rock Hill was very simple - hold the inaugural Rugby NIT for middle school to meet the demands of the exponentially growing ranks of middle school rugby in the USA.
It was something that was long overdue, and this past weekend the fact that it happened made it a success, and how it expanded was a win, too.
The Middle School NIT is growing and expanding as the tournament approaches.
Slated for June 24-25 in Rock Hill, SC, the tournament has now expanded into three brackets.
The first is the Boys Middle School bracket, which will include Washington DC, South Carolina, Texas, Florida, Virginia, and two teams from North Carolina.
Five teams ave already accepted invitations to the inaugural Middle School National Invitational Tournament in June.
Dubbed The Ruck in Rock Hill because it will be held in Rock Hill, SC June 24 and 25, the tournament already has signed up the following teams:
