Gonzaga and Georgetown Prep keep winning the MAVRC conference in the DC area.
On April 6 Gonzaga handled St. John's 87-0. Last Friday, Salesianum defeated Dematha 29-18.

Bell Multicultural defeated Landon 20-13 this past weekend to win the MAVRC Division II championship in the Maryland/DC area.
Both teams came into the matchup undefeated, with Landon at 5-0-1 and Bell at 4-0-2. The teams had played late in the regular season and that game ended in a tie.
Gonzaga 20 - Georgetown Prep 8
With a crowd of thousands watching on, the MARVC Championship played out closer than many expected, with Georgetown Prep pushing Gonzaga to the edge.
It was 15-8 for Gonzaga until the very end of the game, when Reggie Corbin’s try put it away and won the championship 20-8 for the top-ranked single-school team.
