The USA Women's 15s team lost 32-11 to Canada in the Women's Rugby World Cup quarterfinals and end their tournament tied for 5th with a 1-3 record.
Once again points were hard to come by. The Eagles recycled well and worked hard, but their offensive plan did not create line breaks the way other teams, including Canada, were able to do.
USA coach Rob Cain has named his team for the Rugby World Cup 2021 quarterfinal against Canada at Waitakere Stadium on 30 October (11:30PM ET October 29 for fans in the USA).
Canada has defeated the USA 29-14 in the Women's Rugby World Cup, but both have more rugby to give.
The Eagles put in quite a brave performance and while they were led by their stars, Kate Zackary, Alev Kelter, and Hope Rogers, there were moments for others, too.
Canada has named their squad to face the USA in this weekend's Pool B match.
This is the third game in RWC 2021 (for clarity, the Women's Rugby World Cup played in 2022).

The USA U18s beat the Netherlands U18s 31-23. In a high-paced game the USA team, still having just assembled a few days ago, were facing a Netherlands team that had spent more time as a unit. The Dutch were also big and physical, but the Americans got stuck in and took the game.
