All The LA 7s Fun Within 20 Minutes
All The LA 7s Fun Within 20 Minutes
A large number of drinking and eating establishments along the beaches in Los Angeles will be hosting parties during the LA 7s February 29-March 1.
Manhattan Beach, Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, and Torrance, all areas right next to each other, will provide fans with a variety of options to have fun and join the party while also being close to the venue (Dignity Health Sports Park), and the LAX airport.
There will be a Rugby Passport which will allow fans to visit multiple establishments throughout the weekend.
The Passport guides you to establishments throughout the South Bay. With it you get discounts and promotions offered in various bars and restaurants, and you can enter in the Prize Drawings by visiting and getting your passport stamped at Rugby Hub locations.
Some of the establishments we understand will participate are:
Hennessey’s Tavern — there are three, one in Redondo Beach, one in Hermosa Beach, and one in Manhattan Beach
Rebel Republic Social House in both Manhattan Beach and Redondo Beach
H.T. Grill in Redondo Beach
The Lighthouse Café in Hermosa Beach
Baja Sharkeez in Hermosa Beach
Palmilla in Hermosa Beach
Tower 12 in Hermosa Beach
Notice that not all of these are bars. They serve food as well and the supporting establishments can off plenty of variety for fans. The entire weekend will have an easygoing, California vibe with the Sevens World Series sense of fun.
20-20-20 for $20
The Rugby Hub of bars and restaurants is less than 20 minutes from LAX. It's less than a 20-minute drive from the Rugby Hub to Dignity Health Sports Park, and less than 20 minutes from the stadium back to nightlife after the matches.
It is very easy to rideshare and Dignity Health Sports Park is nicely set up to handle large numbers of rideshares. You can Uber in the HOV lanes, and insiders say that is the best way to get around.
Those 20-minute trips can usually be done for about $20.
