The North American Lions finished off pool play 3-0 with a 20-0 victory over Travel & Sport Elite Friday at the Dubai 7s.

The Lions are playing in the Boys U19 International competition, and finished pool play with 54 points scored and only 12 allowed. While strong defense has been the order of the weekend for the North American team, converting tries has not. With some talented kickers on the squad, they nevertheless have converted only two of eight tries, and will need those extra points as the tournament progresses.

Against Travel & Sport Elite, the Lions got tries from Sean Nolan , Brett Dowgiewicz, Isaiah Rademacher, and Gordy McKeehan.

Next up in the Cup Quarterfinals will be KwaZulu Natal, a team the Lions defeated 19-5 on Thursday and will enter the final day of play on Saturday hoping to go through to the Cup.
