The fall comes down to this as Men’s DIAA and DII college teams crown champions.

For the Men’s DII, this is the national championship—there is no spring playoff. For everyone else, it’s a fall championship with a spring championship for those who finish league play in March and April.

Queens and Norwich are both varsity teams. Queens is looking strong and healthy and will embrace what is a battle of different styles of play. Queens likes their chances in dry-ish conditions and with a chance to run the ball.

Norwich has played smart tactical rugby all season, and did so perfectly in the earlier playoff rounds, eschewing the flashier open-field play to pound it with the forwards. Their overtime in over Furman was predicated on the pick-and-go. It didn’t matter what the number was on your back, you were going vertical.

We’ve picked Norwich vs Wisconsin-Whitewater here, but while Whitewater is definitely favored over S&T, Queens could be here over Norwich. Either way, it’s going to be a tough game to pick.
