Ramblin Jesters Young 7s Player Of The Month: Tomas Gallo
Ramblin Jesters Young 7s Player Of The Month: Tomas Gallo
One of the exciting things to see in a young rugby player is initiative - when a player doesn't wait for his chance, but takes it.
That is Tomas Gallo.
The former Okapi Wanderers player, who played in the All American system, is still searching for opportunities.
From Florida, Gallo has secured a spot with the London Scottish Academy, and will return there for this season. It's not an easy position to attain, but he worked hard to get there, and stay there.
Here more of what Tomas Gallo has to say here
Not enough? During this summer Gallo looked for high-performance opportunities, and found that opportunity in ... Canada. He played for the Upright Rugby Rogues U20 team, helping that squad to a 5-1 record and 3rd place in the NAI 7s.
It's all, said Gallo, about taking your shot. He said he loves playing with players he doesn't know, and has learned a lot.
Maybe we can learn a lot from him.
Tomas Gallo is our Ramblin’ Jesters Young 7s Player of the Month.

The Ramblin’ Jesters is an elite invitational sevens team in the grand tradition of the Barbarians and other compilation teams, operating out of London in the UK.
They have won the Rosslyn Park Floodlit 7s (beating London Irish and five-time winners Harlequins en-route to the final) and the Rugby Rocks Festival in London and the Copenhagen 7s in Denmark.
In addition, the team has also finished runner-up tp the German national team in the Nancy 7s tournament in France, and, on their first trip to the USA, took third place in the Serevi RugbyTown 7s in Glendale Colo., finishing 6-1, and losing only to the eventual winners, Denver.
The Ramblin’ Jesters are keen to grow their US activity and connections and create opportunities for players on both sides of the Atlantic to play rugby to an elite level.
The Ramblin’ Jesters are pleased to sponsor this Goff Rugby Report USA Young Sevens Player of the Month Award.
