St Edward Concludes Successful California Tour
St. Edward finished off a very successful tour of California with three victories and a loss, and a trip to #1 in the FloRugby Single-School rankings.
After beating Jesuit of Sacramento in a game that bumped St. Ed's to #1, St. Edward lost to Australian touring side Toowoomba. Grant Gutchall and Conor Forrestal each scored tries in that game, with Forrestal adding a conversion and a penalty in the 43-15 loss.
St. Ed's then turned around and defeated Mira Costa 64-14 behind three tries each from Charlie Green, Anthony Perrins, and Brendan Greenwell. And then St. Edward beat Santa MOnica 61-12. Green and Brendan Greenwell scored two each, and Josh Leidich scored three.
Forrestal kicked well the whole tour and in four games logged 40 points. Green scored six tries.
