Steve Rohde, St. Thomas Aquinas (Kan.)
The St. Thomas Aquinas No. 8 was a powerful presence offensively and defensively when Aquinas beat rivals KC Jr. Blues, and also in a good showing at the Jesuit Classic.
Ivan Pula, Budd Bay
The Budd Bay back scored a try and was central to the Barbarians' attack as they beat Chuckanut.
Will Chevalier, NeuquaIn the Illinois Suburban league, Neuqua defeated La Salette, and scrumhalf Chevalier beings a bunch of skills to the team. Chevalier is a running back, defensive back, and kicker for the football team, and his defense, speed, and ability to get territory with the boot helped Neuqua get the victory. (Patty Dosher photo)

Luke Persanis, Pelham
The Pelham HS scrumhalf scored a try and assisted on five others in a big win over St. Anthony's. He continually turned the field position around with his box kicks, and was named player of the game.
Jordan Cranford, Palmer HS
The Terrors won a key victory in Rugby Colorado against East HS, and the offense kept clicking thanks to the leadership of Cranford at scrumhalf.
Warner Wyckoff, Monarch HS
Playing fullback for Monarch, Wyckoff excelled in a win over Colorado Springs, especially on defense.
Amitai Noah, Belmont Shore
In a series when they had to play, and beat, the best teams in their conference, Belmont Shore was a leader and strong on attack as Shore beat Back Bay and Santa Monica.
Emmanuel Albert, Eagan
The Eagan No. 8 helped his team open up the Minnesota league season with a strong performance, testing defenses with his strong running.
Jack Gab, Jesuit New Orleans
Gab was the player of the game and kicked the game-winning penalty in the 25-22 overtime win over the Bayou Hurricanes in the Louisiana state final.
Avery Kurkowski, Capital (Idaho)
The Capital inside center scored three tries as Capital beat Mountain View.
Kieran Webb, Bayou Hurricanes
Already named a Gamebreaker in these pages, Webb played a huge game for the Hurricanes in an OT loss in the Louisiana state final.
Charlie Martel, Bethesda
The Roosters finished 1st in the Maryland HS club league and Martel at No. 8 has been one of their strongest players.
Tevita Noa, Highland
Noa played lock and led a strong forward effort as Highland defeated Olympus.
Joe Marchant, Jesuit (Sacramento)
Playing prop for Jesuit, Marchant was named the player of the game in his team's game with Australia-based St. Ignatius Riverview.
Alex Chura, St. Ignatius (Ohio)
Chura scored a brilliant counter-attack try that helped Ignatius win a one-point game over Royal Irish.
Jake Christmann, Royal Irish
The Irish may have lost 22-21 to St. Ignatius, but Christmann played strong at scrumhalf and kicked goals to get points when the tries weren't coming.
Terance Hargest, Dallas Harlequins Colts
Hargest has scored seven tries in the last three games as the Colts made a surge to win their conference.
Will Vakalahi, Penn HS
The Penn captain scored four tries in his team's win over HSE.
Conor McManus, Fort Hunt
The Fort Hunt scrumhalf has been playing well all spring and was the sparkplug for his team as they made the final of the Jesuit Classic.
Chase Schor Haskin, St. Thomas Aquinas (Fla.)
Haskin played No. 8 for STA as they beat Okapi to win the Florida state final. He was named the MVP of the game.
Anthony Perschon, Herriman
Perschon was brilliant for Herriman as they defeated Westlake, leading the team in gaining ground and also setting up his teammates.
Isaiah Mcfall, KC Jr. Blues
The Junior Blues prop was a powerful attacking forward in his tam's 27-24 defeat of East HS of Colorado. Mcfall made the gain line on a regular basis, got his tam the go-forward they needed, and set the platform in the rucks.
Vili Kolomalu, Genesis
Kolomalu scored a key try as Genesis tied United.
Stephen Schultz, Red Mountain
Schultz was a powerful runner for Red Mountain in the Arizona state final against Ahwatukee, played tough defense, scored two tries, and kicked six conversions for 22 points.
Eoin Sansavero, Xavier HS
Moving to flyhald, Sansavero put in an excellent game for the NY-based team as they defeated Uxbridge in Ontario.
