White Horse Wins RugbyPa 7s
The White Horse Girls RFC finished their undefeated 2016 Fall 7s season with a Pennsylvania State Championship, going 5-0 in the state championship tournament this past weekend
White Horse went 3-0 in pool play and then defeated Kiski Valley in the semis, and Valkyries in the final.
"The future of girls rugby in Pennsylvania looks bright with the level of play displayed at the state championships," said White Horse club president Wayne DiMarco. "All of the teams came to compete and win. Teams such as Downingtown, Doylestown, Kiski Valley, and Valykries all had great days, competed hard and pushed us to raise our level of play. I was happy to see how our girls responded, and pleased to see the progress and development of girls rugby in general."
