Here's a look at some of the DI-level players who showed well in the last couple of weeks - our Gamebreakers.
Skyler Adams
The AIC prop from Colorado Springs had his best game in an AIC uniform against UConn, dominating the point of contact as he helps AIC to an undefeated record in the ECRC.
Liam Wynne
The Colorado State center played a solid all-around game for the Rams in their win over Air Force, a week after scoring three tries in a win over Colorado.
Malcolm May
Scored three tries for Penn State and was an overall powerhouse at flanker as the Nittany Lions defeated Army.
Luca Wrabatz
Wrabatz scored two tries and added eight conversions for 26 points as the University of Buffalo defeated Delaware 71-22.
Austin Baker
The University of Cincinnati fullback had a fairly accurate day kicking against Louisville, and certainly hit the one that counted; with two minutes left in the game Cincinnati fly half Jake Moore touched down to make it 25-24 Louisville, and then Baker added the conversion to win the game 26-25.
Fernando Meersohn
The University of Mary Washington hooker score two tries and was all over the field for UMW as they beat Virginia in Chesapeake Conference action.
Connor McNerney
McNerny continues to be the foundation of the Navy attack, playing an excellent game for the Midshipmen in their 32-31 loss to Air Force, and continuing his outstanding form in a win over Notre Dame this past weekend.
Sean Porrata
The Brockport fullback scored two crucial tries in his team’s 24-22 Empire Conference win over Stony Brook.
Daniel Petty
The captain of the University of Wisconsin team, Petty scored three tries in Saturday’s win over Minnesota. A humble, hard-working fullback, Petty is fast, smart, and an outstanding open-field tackler.
Russell Webb
Webb scored five tries and notched nine conversions as Cal won the West Coast 7s. With the large squads meaning lineups were changed constantly, Webb still managed to make an impact, including three tries in the first half of Cal’s semifinal win over Arizona State.
Kyle Peterson
The University of Kentucky flanker had a monster game on defense against Vanderbilt. It was the constant pressure he put on the Vanderbilt fly half that got the Wildcats going, and he was brilliant in the lineouts, as well.
