Kickoff Time Soon as Eagle Women Land in Rio
Kickoff Time Soon as Eagle Women Land in Rio
The USA women's 7s team is in Rio and getting ready for the most important tournament they will ever play (aside, maybe, from the qualifiers last summer).
Head Coach Richie Walker posted on social media the following:
"The last 3 days have been a crazy experience. From team processing with my name on the mirror in my private Nike dressing room and having two assistants go get you what you need, to having a police escort to the airport, to arriving in Rio and thinking that it is here and it is real with all the different countries walking around, to doing my first ever press conference with our team captain and the media just firing questions at you. The Olympics are a whole different level and a bit overwhelming for but very exciting at the same time!"
The Eagles, captained by Kelly Griffin, kickoff their Olympic dream on August 6.
Their opening game will be broadcast LIVE on NBC Sports Network at 9am, Pacific Time - that's against Fiji. Then they play Colombia on CNBC at 2pm Pacific. (1pm and 6pm location time).
If you can't be near a TV at that time, the games will also be Live Streamed Here
