UCLA Looks to 2-0 in PAC

The PAC Rugby Conference moves on this weekend with two more games.

Right now, UCLA leads with a 1-0 record having beaten Arizona State 32-12. 

The Niall Barry-captained Bruins face off with Oregon State in a game where UCLA really must be favored.

"We’ve got a new look," said UCLA Head Coach Scott Stewart, "and a lot of new players. But we've got a nice culture of guys working hard for each other. We have some internal competition for places which is working in our favor."

So certainly if Stewart opts for some younger guys against the Beavers those players will want to make their mark.

"The new players are fitting in really well," said Stewart.

Oregon State is slowly improving, but had struggled to find victories in the PAC so far.

Meanwhile, Arizona State hosts Utah in a game we preview here. Utah is also 1-0, but the Utes gave up 31 to Arizona in their win and won't like to do that again.
