The son of HS All American Head Coach Salty Thompson, Brett Thompson is a powerful runner (and former University of Arizona football player) who is very strong in the air. His 7s experience shows that he knows where the tryline is, and he is potentially an excellent leader for the Eagles. His attitude, and the way he carries himself, is exactly what US rugby needs. Thompson played just the one game, and scored the winning try as well as making a game-saving tackle at the other end of the field.
