(David Barpal photo.) As well as being an excellent fullback with attacking skills, Chris Wyles has been a regular goalkicker for the USA since 2012. For a while he was good, but kicked like a guy who didn't get to kick much. Over time, with extra practice, he has become excellent. His performances against Japan and Canada were superb, as he slotted several tough-angle kicks. It was Wyles's goal kicking that helps the USA come back against Canada. In the second half, he hit both penalty attempts and converted both tries, one from the right touchline, and one from the far left.
