Sam Chapman, Kansas City Junior Blues
The Kansas City Junior Blues flyhalf has demonstrated some outstanding kicking skills in tournament play this season, and his field generalship helped his club to a close loss in the final of the HOA Tournament.
Tyler Ringwood, Olympus, Utah
Ringwood Olympus to a key win over East HS in Utah, and scored the try that salvaged their result against Capital HS in Idaho. The Olympus No. 8/prop and team captain is reportedly considering playing at Central Washington when he graduates.
Jackson Clark, South Greenville, SC
Scrumhalf Jackson Clark sparked South Greenville’s defeat of Phoenix Alpharetta in a clash of top teams from South Carolina, and Georgia, respectively.
Lorenzo Thomas, Union, Okla.
Lorenzo Thomas scored the winning try with no time left in the final of the Heart of America tournament, helping Union of Oklahoma win the tournament over the Kansas City Junior Blues.
Brendon Curle, Union Titans, Ore.
The flyhalf for the Titans, Curle helped his team win two shortened games in a round-robin weekend in Rugby Oregon league play. He captained the team, scored four tries, and showed good field vision in marshaling the backline as they swept Prairie and Battle Ground.
Tonu Naeta, Herriman, Utah
He didn't start the game, but he helped finish it. Naeta was a hugely influential impact sub for Herriman as they upended United 26-22.
James Tweedy, Xavier, NY
Tweedy was player of the game in Xavier’s win over Union County (NJ), scoring three tries and kicking four conversions for 23 points all by himself.
Sam Tofi, Riordan, Calif.
Playing for the Northern California all-stars against the English Lambs, the select side of English independent schools, Tofi scored both of NorCal's tries in the 23-10 victory.
