We have some serious changes and that's what's so great about Spring Break time, because various tournaments and trips test teams and give us something cross-border-like to watch.
We took another look at the results of both Georgetown Prep and St. Augustine Hermits and moved them both up. Notre Dame de la Salette, Strake Jesuit, and, notably, Marquette move up also. We expected Marquette to potentially get a big boost. We were just waiting for the games to be played. Trumbull, after their win over Fairfield Prep, moves up. It's interesting to see how close that Tri-State area is, with Trumbull, Greenwich, Rye, Staples, and Fairfield Prep all quite close.
Oh, and we have a new #1. Of course we do. #2 beat #1 and that's usually how that works. We're quite confident in St. Ignatius as #1. After that there are a number of serious questions to consider. Notably, we have St. Ignatius vs Gonzaga on April 26, Xavier HS vs Gonzaga on May 10, and St. Ignatius vs Charlotte Cardinals (!) on May 10. We're also keeping an eye on the Montana Invitational and the Midwest Championships.
