Things Still Shaking Up in Arizona
Arizona's competitive balance continues to be shaken up and that's a good thing.
Phoenix is rising up and could be a contender, while Tempe remains a force. Scottsdale is definitely a team to watch and they won again this week, beating Brophy Prep in convincing fashion 69-21.
Captain Carter Hofmann once again led from the front and he was once again featured heavily on the scoresheet, logging four tries.
Scottsdale scored in the first two minutes against a very young Brophy Prep team, and never looked back.
"It was a great chance for some of the newer players to get some playing time and they handled themselves well," said Scottsdale Head Coach Elf Thomas.
Jack Markley played outside center, flyhalf, and scrumhalf in the game and was effective at all. Martin Reenie was a handful for the opponents breaking tackles and scoring tries.
Next up for Scottsdale is Phoenix.
