Giving a Gift? How About A Great Rugby Experience?
Merry Christmas everyone, how's your Christmas shopping going?
Many people shopping for their loved ones struggle to find that special gift, and often it's less a thing than an experience that can be the best gift.
Enter the LA Sevens.
The US stop on the SVNS World Series is especially notable this year for a number of reason which we'll list below. But in general, it's a massive event on the American rugby calendar and will be held May 3-4 at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, Calif., just east of downtown Los Angeles. Tickets are available here: https://www.lasevensrugby.com/2025-tickets
Get your rugby-fan loved ones a great rugby experience like the LA SVNS.
More About SVNS Los Angeles
- It's being held in May, taking full advantage of the Southern California spring weather.
- It's the final tournament of the year, which means the SVNS season Champions (Men and Women) will be crowned.
- There are actually four tournaments being held: SVNS Finals Men, SVNS Finals Women, SVNS Requalification Men, SVNS Requalification Women.
- The action will be held on two fields a short distance from each other, the Dignity Health Sports Park Stadium and the Dignity Health Sports Park Track Stadium (which hosted USA vs France women in 2014). Those fields are about a 300-meter walk from each other.
- Because the action will be on two fields, you don't have to stay for 10-12 hours to watch your favorite team; you can see the teams you follow in a bit of a shorter time frame.
- After a year of World Rugby running much of the tournament, AEG is back running everything and that's good news because the Ethnic Food is back, the Local Music is back, and the Festival is back.
- There will be a revamped LA Invitational.
It's An Experience
With 32 national teams playing in four tournaments, SVNS World Series champions crown, the festival, the food, the music, and the options for a shorter viewing day if you want, this is an even rugby fans should embrace.
