As often happens with these rankings, anyone doing the rankings, at least those of us who use subjective methods, have to guard against over-reacting to one result.

We were tempted to move Adrian up further but remember they tied Arkansas State ... which kind of means the should stay near Arkansas State. We didn't move Adrian all the way up to ASU last week because we wanted to see another result. Beating Ohio State was something we needed to see.

Penn State is a team we've been waiting on and they did beat Kutztown, a week ago. So they needed to follow up on that, while also we needed to see where Kutztown is. KU won their game this week, and Penn State beat Queens. The Nittany Lions move up. 

This coming weekend we have a few games to watch.

Life at Queens, Arizona at Colorado State, Arkansas State at Lindenwood, Adrian at Davenport, and Air Force at Army are all major matchups that will affect these rankings.
