We didn't update the NCR D1 rankings last week because we've found we can best do three in a week most of the time.

So someone has to have a bye week and this past week was the bye week for NCR D1.

The fun part of that is that we get to incorporate two weeks worth of results, which can make for some big movers. Principia, no surprise, moves up. They are helped by a couple of other teams slipping a bit. We're not quite ready to bump Thomas More or Principia ahead of AIC or Dartmouth ... yet ... but we're close to doing that. 

Notre Dame's win over Ohio State bumps them up, and Wisconsin comes into the Top 20 this week. We were waiting on the Michigan State result and they did superbly. Indiana did indeed lose to hio State and Notre Dame beat OSU, so why do we have Indiana well above Notre Dame? Strength of schedule and Marian beating Notre Dame earlier in the fall. So yes Notre Dame could be stronger than Indiana, but we might have to wait for October 26, when IU plays Wisconsin and Notre Dame hosts Navy.

Wheeling also shoots up, climbing four spots to #6.

But ... but ... the top two don't change. We might have put Brown at #1. We'll see how that pans out but right now we're looking at Queens and Brown being very close. And really the top six ... maybe the top 10 ... are quite close.
