With their 50-19 victory over Tonga in Nuku'alofa, Fiji has taken the top spot in Pool A of the Pacific Nations Cup.
The result also ensured that Samoa would be #2.

What that means is that Tonga will play Canada on September 14 in Tokyo to see who takes 5th.
And we now know who is in the semifinals to face the teams from Pool B. the USA takes on Japan early Saturday morning Eastern Time (6AM) on Peacock. The winner of that game will play Samoa in the semifinals on September 14 or September 15, and the loser will play Fiji.

If USA and Japan tie, Japan will be 1st in Pool B unless the USA gets a four-try bonus point and Japan doesn't.

Semifinal: Fiji vs USA or Japan September 14 6AM ET
