It's a big weekend in boys HS rugby.
In SoCal an up-and-coming Loyola team faced a very strong Los Alamitos team on Thursday and won (!). Top SCIRF team Cathedral Catholic is taking a trip up north to play Jesuit of Sacramento in an early-season clash of titans.
Texas really gets going with single-school and club games. We're told to keep an eye on St. Thomas of Houston, so, yes, keep an eye on them.
The Northern California single-school league kicks off and we're curious if De La Salle can keep the strong form going for another year.
In North Carolina it's probably a weekend where top teams consolidate their positions before the playoffs come crashing down.
