This is the first week of our Boys HS School-team rankings and, of course, we expect a lot of changes.

Most of this ranking is based on the final ranking from last year. But we made some changes. Some of the teams we moved down (mostly down ... sorry) were moved because they kind of had a breakout season last year and we decided not to put too much pressure on them to hold onto that ranking until we see them play.

In addition, with North Carolina and Southern California in action already the teams therein have recorded some results that warrant a move up. 

Boys HS Nationals Application Process Now Open

A couple of team-specific notes:

Edina-the Minnesota league starts so late that the teams in that state almost inevitably slide out of the Top 50 as the winter and spring goes on. But they end up coming back. But we think they deserve to be in the Top 50 to begin with.

Cardinal Gibbons-the Florida team is not in the Top 50 because they didn't end the 2023 season in the Top 50, but we are really thinking they might well be there soon. Because Florida teams play soon, we can rely on the results to help us.

Cathedral Catholic-tied the Australia Raptors touring side, and the Aussies beat everyone else they played by significant margins so we think they might be very good.

South Carolina starts soon, and we're excited about that and the fact that the league has grown in the number of teams and players.
