BYU capped off a dominant run with a 37-10 defeat of Stanford in last weekend’s semifinals. In college games the Cougars have been able to play, they are now 7-1 with their only loss to D1 Elite Central Washington. Their average score is 67-8, and in D1 games it’s 74-3.
Virginia won the Eastern semifinal in a close one over Florida 14-12 over Florida 69-7. However, for the second-straight year UVA are not making the trip to the final. Last year Virginia Tech stepped in to replace them. This year, the main reason is finances.
