Boys School HS Rugby Rankings Week 16
It would be nice to have lots of changes and shifts in the rankings to promote a week's update, but this time we don't have much.
Even when we had a lower-ranked team beat a higher-ranked team there are complications. St. Thomas lost to Dallas Jesuit, but Dallas lost to St. Pius X and Thomas beat Pius. St. Thomas beat Strake Jesuit while Dallas Jesuit lost to them. So really the truth is that all four of those teams are very close.
A few of the results this past weekend could have prompted more of a move, but in the contect of everything else, we just couldn't do it. Even Regis Jesuit losing to Monarch was a bit of a shrug moment. Regis is set for the playoffs in CIRA and had already beaten Monarch.
So this week if a very conservative week, but that's OK. There's a lot happening in the next few weeks, with NorCal playoffs, Midwest Championships, MVRC playoffs, Rye vs Pelham, Spalding vs Blakefield, Xavier vs Greenwich, and Rugby PA playoffs.
