NAI 7s Almost Completely Sold Out But Wait List is an Option
The North American Invitational 7s is essentially sold out, but there's still hope.
The NAI 7s, to be held July 22-23 in Salt Lake City, will have 13 brackets from U12 to U23, and there may be one or two spots in a couple of those brackets.
Teams are embracing the high level of competition played at an excellent venue, the Regional Athletic Center just north of Salt Lake City. The event will have more fields than ever before with expanded food truck offerings, double the shade thanks to new construction from the venue itself, and streaming of all fields. Also, 60 referees will be at the tournament to officiate the games.
According to Tournament Director Mike Cressler, there is one spot left in U18 Boys, U16 Boys Tier 2, and U23 Men. There are four spots available in U23 Women, and five spots open in the U12 coed division.
While the brackets may be full, there is always the chance of a team having to pull out. Teams that are still looking to play are encouraged to register. By doing so they will be put on a wait list and while they do enter their billing information, they will not be charged unless a space opens up.
"I encourage anyone who still wants to compete to get on the wait list," said Cressler. "We're really excited about the continued improvements to the tournament and it's pretty clear teams enjoy coming to Utah for the NAI 7s."
