Boys School HS Rugby Rankings Week 14
Well we've been looking each week for a reason to move any of the top three or four.
It's not that we want to move someone down, but we don't want to be locked into a ranking just because we have it. So ... this week ... St. Ignatius played a Grandville team that we don't have ranked and a team we expected the Wildcats to beat. But 109-0? That is pretty emphatic, and perhaps a harsh lesson for a Grandville program that has historically produced a lot of good players.
And De La Salle played SFGG, which is a very good opponent. And you know we value stronger opposition. But we have expectations—St. Ignatius wins 46-12 and DLS wins 34-15 then maybe that's enough to switch it up. But St. Ignatius won by three digits and DLS won by two points.
We have Regis Jesuit ranked well ahead of East HS despite the fact that East beat Regis early in the season. Why? Overall Regis has logged better results since. Maybe we're wrong on this but we don't think we should be locked in to have Regis behind East.
Three other movers of note: Rigby moves ahead of Owyhee after beating them, BC High moves into the Top 50 after beating Milton, and Camas moves in because, to be honest, we should have had them in there before.

Coming up this week: Gonzaga's tournament is stacked with good teams, including Gonzaga, Greenwich, and Staples. St. Pius X vs Woodlands, St. Thomas vs West Houston, New Orleans Jesuit vs Brother Martin, St. Edward vs St. Ignatius
