Boys HS Club Rugby Rankings Week 13
Sometimes you just have to take a long look at the rankings and figure out whether it all needs to be changed.
We did that this week. We looked at Woodlands' past win over SOC, and SOC's win over Tempe, and Tempe's close loss to Granite Bay (which we'd given a lot of credence). We decided we've been ignoring some of our key tenets, especially the one that gives more credence to recent results. Woodlands, SOC, and Tempe all did well this week, so it may rankle Tempe fans that they drop. But they were too high. We see that now.
West Houston moves up. Hard to keep them down when they keep beating highly-ranked teams.
Berks, Cape Fear, Raptor, West Valley, and Key Biscayne all get significant boosts. We had kept Key Biscayne behind Wellington based on an a very early result. Now the playoffs kind of wash out those early games.
