National 7s Youth Championships Ready for 2nd Edition in 2022
The National 7s Youth Rugby Championships will return to Cleveland for its 2nd year.
In making its debut in 2021, the youth championships was a big success, with three competitive brackets, and plenty of dramatic and highly-skilled games.
As it did in 2021, the National 7s Youth Rugby Championships will have three brackets, a U15/8th-grade Boys, a U15/8th-grade Girls, and a U15/8th-grade Boys Tier II. Last year, Rhino, Belmont Shore, and Vienna won those three brackets.
The event will once again be held on the campus of St. Ignatius HS in Cleveland, Ohio. The venue has three field in the heart of Cleveland's Ohio City neighborhood, with the infrastructure of a strong high school that supports rugby part of the plan.
The tournament will be held over three days on June 10, June 11, and June 12. Once again, winning teams receive a cash prize, $1000 for the Tier 1 championships and $500 for the Tier 2 winners.
