Gamebreakers in Men's D2 College This Week
With a few surprises and some dramatic finishes, this week's DII College Gamebreakers have even more impact.
Avery Gottlob, UNC-Charlotte
The UNCC center scored a key try and set up another with a poach and kick downfield as the 49ers unseated #1-ranked Furman.
Eric Reed, Marian
While Marian has had a tough time finding games, they haven't shied away from a challenge, and their 46-16 loss to a Lindenwood XV was an indication of that. At the center of such an attitude is Eric Reed, a freshman who unleashed a staggering 35 tackles in the game against the Lions.
Drew O’Conner, Grand Valley State
With the game tied 35-35 against Ferris State, O'Conner hit a penalty goal from near the touchline to ensure a 38-35 victory for GVSU.
Cormac Gallagher, Marquette
As he has all season, the Marquette fullback provided clutch kicks from the tee and the hand, and also produced some key defensive plays as well as being a dynamic part of the Marquette attack as his side finished off league play with a win over UW-Milwaukee.
Easton Foreman, Auburn
Stepping in for an injured starter, the Tigers hooker was strong around the field, running the ball with aggression and playing some excellent defense, which has been a hallmark of Auburn’s success.

The Black Pack captain and No. 8 had another big game, playing superbly in the lineout, not only setting a platform but repeatedly disrupting BU possession.
Jack Tellifson, Norwich
The Cadets No. 8 was a massive leader by example as Norwich went to 5-0 in conference play.
Lucas Gilberston, UW Whitewater
In his first start for the Warhawks, the center played an excellent defensive game against Northern Michigan and also scored two tries, including a 75-meter gallop late in the game.
