Minnesota is atop the Heart of American North after beating Iowa 41-7.

The Gophers ave not lost and are in a good position to make something happen in the playoffs.

"Iowa was a tough and physical team," said Golden Gophers Head Coach Sean Lindersmith. "Our team was challenged the entire way.

"We started executing well after making some adjustments."

Arkansas won also, beating Missouri 52-12. The Razorbacks began the game with a 17-0 run but Mizzou got a try just before halftime from prop Cam Gillespie and another right after halftime from flanker Devin Petersen.

But Arkansas was un control after that, with the Tyson Lucas to Aiden Fahey connected at flyhalf/center working nicely, they had plenty of chances. Lucas scored three and six different Razorbacks scored tries. Freshman No. 8 Michael Fells was excellent in defense while scrumhalf Aiden Olivier was good on six conversions in difficult conditions.

So it looks like Kansas and Arkansas are through to the semis from the South, and Minnesota and Iowa State (43-14 winners over Nebraska) are through from the North. ISU will likely face KU and Minnesota should play Arkansasm all in Lawnrence, Kans. on November 6-7.
